Liliana Gaito is an artist very creative, versatile, and multifaceted person. She divides her projects between Portugal and Brazil.

 

She knows what she wants to be from an early age, always working hard to achieve her goals.

Writing, music, directing, and photography have always been present throughout her life. She worked at two Portuguese audiovisual production companies, Stopline Films and Lanterna de Pedra Filmes. She worked at the 4 Side Music Group and its branches 4 Side Music and 4 Side Soundtracks in agency and management. She was part of Zone Komics, an independent Portuguese comic book publisher, as an assistant, writer, producer, and social media manager.

 

In 2018 she launched her audiovisual production company LightGenesys. In 2021, she launched her small vegan confectionery business Lil Faz Bolos, which is currently on standby.

In 2020, she joined the "Virar a Página - Antologia de BD" project, which brought together Portuguese scriptwriters and artists to create 41 comics stories, seeking to be an active part of supporting the social action of a social Association called Associação CAIS.

She participated in "Dualidade" co-written with Diogo Almeida and illustrated by Patrícia Costa and "Balão" co-written with Diogo Almeida and illustrated by Rodrigo Mota.

In the same year, she released her first solo comic with Diogo Almeida "Crianças da Terra" (Children of the Land), illustrated by Ricardo Robalo.
Its launch was made in Brazil at CCXP'20 and later in Portugal at Amadora BD'21 by H-Alt magazine, which launched its number 10 where the comics were included.

 

She is part of the group "Autores Lusófonos Unidos Pelo Planeta", it is a union between 12 authors and 4 independent comic studios from Brazil, Portugal, and Angola, whose objective is to cooperate with comics and works of various genres where the theme is the environment.

In 2021, she launched her comics “The Mystery of Cepheus – Prelude” illustrated by Carlos Rafael, which was released in Brazil at CCXP'21 and in Portugal at the Beja International Comics Festival in 2022. In addition to the book launch at Beja Festival her short comic story "O Que Está De Errado?” (What's Wrong?) illustrated by Danilo Aroeira was selected for the exhibition for Avenida Marginal.

In 2021, she joined the Brazilian production company, Banana Filmes, as an agent, shortly after, she became a producer and is currently one of the partners. In 2022 it launched three projects: its artist agency Life is Golden Agency, LoGic Creative Designs which works with graphic design and web design, and the branch LoGic Creative Solutions focused exclusively on social media management and marketing.

In 2023, she was invited to join the Projeto Chroma, a group from Brazil, which produces stories focused on social causes, whether environmental, economic, or cultural, among others. The Projeto Chroma offers free workshops for children and young people at events and in places to support the community with few financial resources.

In October 2023, her most recent work was released, it's a book of illustrated tales called "The Journey" which was illustrated by Hugo Pouca Roupa. At the same time, she launched her independent publisher, LeGado Editora, and the production company LeGado Studios.

The launch of her digital magazine, LeiGo, is expected in 2024, among other comics and cinema projects.

Liliana has an entrepreneurial spirit, with lots of businesses and projects.
